Nature’s clean slate has arrived.

Spring is a time for rebirth and renewal. It’s also a time to celebrate.

For Jews, this Friday is Passover, a time to commemorate the ancient Israelite’s release from Egyptian slavery.  On Sunday, Christians celebrate Easter with egg hunts and feasts observing the resurrection of Jesus.

For my boys, the warm weather and sunshine beckons them outdoors to explore.  This Spring break, they have climbed trees, hopped along cracked trails, and collected seashells and scented flowers. They have squished their gym shoes into muddy lake beds and turned over rocks, marveling at the life teaming beneath.

In the words of Robin Williams, “Spring is nature’s way of saying ‘Let’s Party!’”

I hope you all have a wonderful holiday weekend!
