Hope you all had a most excellent week! Rather than taking it easy today, I dusted off some old files and got down to work with a fellow writer friend. As always, Jessica and I had fun together, but we also had a specific agenda in mind – to learn how to best promote our books. With my background in publicity, I printed out reams of material and showed Jess how to conduct an old-school media campaign for her new book, OPPRESSION.
With her internet savvy, Jessica showed me some incredible tips for growing my online presence through social media. Something I thought I was doing a decent job at, but found out I’ve been operating in the dark ages. What can I say, the Internet wasn’t around when I was born, nor personal computers for that matter…or microwaves…but I digress.
It was indeed, a day well spent.
I will write everything up soon so I can share it all with you in an upcoming blog.
